Using AI Edit on a task whose playlist is already partly done wipes all progress: every step comes back as todo with full time, including steps already completed.
Repro
Break down a task, start it, complete 2–3 steps in focus mode
Open AI Edit (e.g. "make step 4 more detailed")
Apply → all steps are reset; completed ones show as not done with full minutes again
Expected: completed (and skipped) steps keep their state — the edit applies to the remaining work. At minimum, steps that were done stay done; ideally the edit maps old steps to new ones (e.g. by matching text) and only unfinished steps are replaced/regenerated. Actual: full reset; progress is lost and must be re-tapped.
Notes for whoever picks this up
Root cause is in the apply path: old steps are deleted and all new steps are inserted as todo with minutes * 60 remaining.
Edge cases to consider: an edit that deletes/splits a done step, and edits applied while focus mode is open on stale step IDs.
Acceptance
AI Edit on a partially completed task preserves done/skipped state for unaffected steps
Remaining-time values of untouched steps are not reset to full
Repro above ends with the 2–3 completed steps still marked done after the edit
